The Bellevue Veteran’s Club

We are proud to be associated with the Bellevue Veteran’s Club, and so proud of their unwavering dedication to the youth of Bellevue and the surrounding communities. I can not think of a more meaningful lesson than the one provided by these veterans, who returned from war, and then created an organization to provide sporting, mentoring, leadership and teamwork, skills to thousands of local children. They are the cornerstone of our community. The SPC. Madden Memorial Fund is proud to assist this great organization whenever called upon to provide material support when this group honors one of their own passing members with an honor unit in front of their property by providing the flags used during this display of remembrance.

In 2019, the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund, in conjunction with many other local business organizations completed an entire renovation of the ballfields located at the Bellevue Veteran’s Club. This was was an outstanding and unbelievable event for our community. We were also deeply honored that this group selected Russell to be an enduring part of this organization’s legacy. In addition to the fantastic renovation of the primary and secondary ballfields, playground, and volleyball, activities they also designated a third (smaller) field as the “Russell Madden Memorial Field”. This field, is designated for Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, and Handicapped players. It is an unbelievable honor for them to include our Fallen Hero! Additionally, we had to include the names of the Fallen Heroes from Boone, Kenton and Campbell County (since we decorate their signs).
